To launch Aflac’s cause platform for pediatric cancer, we concepted a year-round, nationwide campaign, known as Duckprints. The campaign includes an experiential tour where the Aflac Duck traveled the nation visiting children’s cancer hospitals and honoring individuals who leave an impact in the fight against childhood cancer. Through the CSE concepted, designed and managed website hub (AflacDuckprints.com), consumers are encouraged to share stories about their commitment, donate to the cause, and engage with the brand. In addition, a robust social media plan drives awareness based on Aflac matching donations through shares and retweets of Duckprints content. In its first year, the Youtube video vignette for Duckprints surpassed Aflac’s 2012 cause campaign by nearly 500%.
We’ve helped guide Aflac’s sponsorships since 2006. In that time, we’ve identified and negotiated key sponsorships that have broadened brand awareness and deepened broker/account engagement. From the No.99 Aflac Ford Fusion to the PGA TOUR and Heisman Trophy, we’ve designed paint schemes, built websites, managed nationwide marketing programs and executed local hospitality activations.
As a way to support local agents across the country, we created and activate a three-vehicle experiential marketing tour that brings our sponsorships to life. The Aflac Mobile Retail Store program is a sales tool for agents that provides access and education for potential policy holders on the benefits of Aflac. Each vehicle is equipped with sponsorship-specific interactive elements and Aflac brand messaging. Last year, the Mobile Retail Store program made 229 stops and exceeded Aflac’s objectives by 15%.
